International Journal of Schooling provides a valuable outlet for research and scholarship on schooling-orientated themes and topics. The Journal is an international, refereed publication dedicated to exploring ways to improve learning and schooling for all children. Articles in the Journal will focus on analysis, use, research and practice related to the schools. The Journal aims to provide a place for many voices concerned with education and learning -- researchers, parents, teachers, students, community members, policy makers. The Journal will include a range of types of articles -- scholarly research, experiences of teachers, parents, and students, commentary, policy analysis and more.
All empirical methods, including, but not limited to, qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods, are welcomed. To be published in Ijschooling, a manuscript must make strong empirical and/or theoretical contributions and highlight the significance of those contributions to the schooling field. Therefore, preference is given to articles that test, extend, or build strong theoretical frameworks while empirically investigating the issues with high importance for educational theories and practices.
